Ryan Freebern is a Private Chef serving the Sonoma, Napa, and Marin counties. Trained at some of San Francisco’s finest dining establishments, and with 15 years experience, he wants to bring his food into your home.
Whether it was making Dressing for the holiday dinner while barely being tall enough to see over the lip of the Dutch Oven, or questing for a better Burger while starving in college, Ryan’s love for food runs deep.
In 2003, after years of cooking as a hobby, he enrolled in the California Culinary Academy and took his first fine dining job at Aqua (Chef Laurent Manrique). Ryan continued refining his skills at San Francisco’s Fifth Floor (Chef Laurent Gras), C&L Restaurant (Chef Peter Zoole and Laurent Manrique), and Restaurant Gary Danko (Chef Gary Danko). In 2008, He left the restaurant kitchen to cook for a private family in San Francisco.
